On May 18, 2010 Yahoo purchased Associated Content. Right from the get go, because of a botched press release, there was confusion. From May 19, 2010 to May 21, 2010 I covered this story this five part series:
Associated Content Served Yahoo! Style
Associated Content Served Yahoo! Style Part-2
Associated Content Served Yahoo! Style Part-3
Associated Content Served Yahoo! Style Part-4
Associated Content Served Yahoo! Style Part-5
Now only four years later, Yahoo! is removing Y!CN (Yahoo! Contributor Network) Yahoo’s home style version of Associated Content from its menu. Never again will people from across the world be able to savor content from this venue again. From what I understand, at about the time this piece is published on Bubblews, Y!CN’s mouth will close and soon afterward people will only be able to taste and swallow the content that is already in their mouths.
Originally published on Bubblews on August 2, 2014. However, it vanished without explanation from Bubblews on December 23, 2014. Other than a non-informational auto-reply, Arvind and his Bubblews support team did not acknowledge my inquiries that I directed to them about this disappearance.
Note 1: This piece did not make the front page of Bubblews. There once was a time, when a bubble on the front page of Bubblews seemed to earn more money than a bubble that was not on the front page of Bubblews. To the best of my knowledge none of the Bubbles that I blew made the front page of Bubblews.

Gentle readers, let me ask all of you this question. Is Bubblews a scam or legit site?

As I said in my Tweet in reply to your post, it’s too bad that Yahoo bought AC. I knew that it was the beginning of the end when they did. I just didn’t know how long it would take them to completely ruin it. To add insult to injury, instead of selling as AC did, Yahoo threw it all away like trash. It must be nice to have billions of dollars to play with and toss out at will.
