Feverishly, but not one driven by money or hunger, I attempted to log into my Bubblews account. This was the day that Arvind’s, CEO and President of Bubblews had posted his bubble titled: “Think” I longed for the simple pleasure of placing a comment in response to his latest philosophical verbiage. From their previous statements, I knew that Arvind and his gang did not see Bubblews as a job or charity. Therefore, I was expecting no recompense for the speaking of my world with a comment.

As I attempted to log in to Bubblews with my credentials, I repeatedly received an error message. I assumed, my thumb typing accuracy had gone askew on my phone. Thus, I paid the message no mind and faithfully would try again. Finally, after a number of failed attempts I took note of it. There before my eyes and before a reddish backdrop, I saw the message as clear as day. It read: “Your Account Has Been Deleted. Reason: Inappropriate Content.” I wondered to myself. Had my sun set on Bubblews? Were the Bubblews powers telling me to exit stage left.

It was an odd message to receive, because at the time my only article that remained with my Bubblews account was a piece titled: “It’s Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas: Bubblews Style.” It was there that I pondered about why my previous four posts and my Bubblews profile statement had disappeared without explanation. My Bubblews profile statement had stood as a stark, written reminder that forty two of my other posts on Bubblews had also vanished without explanation.

Previously and without explanation, on five other occasions, my Bubblews accounts had been vaporized in the bubblesphere. Therefore, as I had done after each of those five other times, I attempted to create a new Bubblews account under the name of HanVanMeegerin. However, this time, I was rebuked with a message that stated that this user name was not available. There is a saying that a cat has nine lives, but after six accounts, I was apparently done as HanVanMeegerin on Bubblews. However, I created HanVanMeegerin7. The seven was for good luck. It appeared that I was alive and well again on Bubblews. I looked around and logged out shortly thereafter.

The next time I tried to access HanVanMeegerin7 on Bubblews, I was greeted with this message. “Your Account Has Been Deleted. Reason: Account Previously Deleted.

Folks informed me that that other bubblers were experiencing a similar fate such fate. Perhaps, Bubblews was trying to quiet some of the naysayers and some of those that had openly wondered aloud about how the site conducted its business affairs.

Ironically, on January 12, 2015, Arvind actively engaged in a question and answer session with his fan club in the comments of his latest post, “Eye See” in manner not seen since his “Arvind – Ask Me Anything” post. There was a new sense of hope, spring was in the air and bubblers seemed happy to just be bubblers. These comments have a vastly different tone to them compared to comments on his bubbles since he unleashed his Bubblews bomb on the New Year’s Eve of 2015.  It seems as though someone(s) had the task of scrubbing and sanitizing the comments to make sure all looked well in Mudsville. Just recently a sprinkling of concerns are getting directed to Arvind.

Note: The date of these log in adventures was January 11, 2015

Gentle readers, let me ask you this question. Is Bubblews a scam or legit site?

  1. Well, if we run a website or blog Arvind won’t be able to delete comments there. Let’s be honest, many people write for Bubblews because they desperately need the money. I’m owed $58, but I’ve read of people being owed over $1,000. I’ve deleted all but three of my articles there (as they’re highlighting causes or issues). You don’t keep moving the goalposts when you feel like it, or pay your writers also when you feel like it. It’s a shambolic site, and one I’d advise everyone to steer well clear of – unless you’re happy about ending up not getting paid.

  2. Han, I cannot remember who told me originally, but William Todd who is a previous member there has information about this, you will find him on Twitter and Facebook. I will message him and see what info I can get, but some one in one of the many Bubblews Facebook groups told me that Bubblews had been served with a notice. I will try to find out more and email it to you, or would you prefer I post it here so everyone can benefit from it?

  3. I am still there Han, but I don’t know for how long. I am trying hard to be polite, just on the off chance that I receive my $121 redemption. But my gosh it’s so hard not to call that fool on his bull sh*** I am so sick of Arvind carrying on and on about free speech and asking us to say what we think and then deleting every negative comment. I think he is doing all of this so he has nothing but positive records of feedback from his writers when he finally ends up in court. There has already been one class action suit launched, a lawyer has written to them giving them notice of this. So it’s on and I say bring it on.

  4. With all I have read, I’m pleased that I never signed up for Bubblews, though I strongly considered it once, and think about it now and then. Thanks for the info!

  5. Nice article, buddy. My account was deleted too, approximately at the same time your account was deleted. Reason: inappropriate content. The funny thing was – I had no content. That is to say, only a comment on Arvind’s post. Probably Arvind’s large dictatorial ego couldn’t stand the comment.

  6. Arvind is getting more like Kim Jung Un every day. He replies to the fawning and sycophantic comments and his minions delete the negative comments.
